BROAD STREET MALL IS PREPPING FOR PRIDE.

With Reading Pride just around the corner, Broad Street Mall is doing its bit to help get visitors into the spirit!

On Friday, August 30th, between 10am to 3pm, Broad Street Mall invites everyone to join in for a day full of Pride prep that’s sure to build excitement for Reading Pride on Saturday, August 31st.

MyUmbrella LGBT+ team will be on hand through the day to bring the energy and enthusiasm! MyUmbrella LGBT+ is a volunteer-led project by Reading Pride, dedicated to raising awareness of lesser-known identities across the full spectrum of sexuality, gender identity and expression within the LGBTQ+ community. Broad Street Mall look forward to welcoming the team to the centre!

The excitement continues at 11am when the fabulous Lady M makes her appearance! This spectacular drag queen will be greeting visitors and posing for photos as they prepare for their show-stopping performance on the main stage at Reading Pride. Lady M will also be handing out lots of FREE Pride-themed goodies, ensuring everyone is ready to celebrate in style.

If that’s not enough to get visitors into the Pride spirit, Broad Street Mall will also have FREE glitter art available, so everyone can show off their Pride excitement as they prep for the big celebration!
