

Celebrate World Book Day at Broad Street Mall

Broad Street Mall is excited to announce the arrival of a special rabbit at the centre this March, to celebrate World Book Day 2026.
On Saturday 7th March, at intervals between 11am and 4pm, visitors can meet the wonderfully charming Peter Rabbit™ in Central Square. Families will be able to get up close to the loveable bunny and take pictures with him for a truly memorable experience.
Plus, in honour of World Book Day and 2026 being the ‘National Year of Reading’, award-winning storyteller Danyah Miller will be hosting beautiful storytelling sessions at intervals between 11am and 4pm on the day. Families can immerse themselves in enchanting tales with these interactive sessions. It’s sure to create special memories for all those who take part.
Both activities re FREE with no booking required. Meet and greets and storytelling sessions will be on a first come first served basis. Visitors are reminded to please be mindful of others whilst queuing.
Whilst visiting Broad Street mall, why not make the most of World Book Day by exploring everything on offer at The Works and Poundland. Families will find a fantastic selection of books for kids to dive into and let their imaginations run wild!
