Broad Street Beats

We’re turning up the excitement this summer because Broad Street Beats is BACK – and this time, we’re bringing Pride to the heart of the event!

Join us on Saturday 16th August between 11am - 3pm in Central Square for a day packed with live music, good vibes, and vibrant Pride spirit as we kick off the celebrations for Reading Pride!

Local Legends, Big Sounds! - We’ve teamed up once again with The Rhoom Studios to shine a spotlight on unmissable local talent. Get ready for a full day of incredible tunes, rising stars, and non-stop toe-tapping. Keep your eyes peeled for the amazing lineup coming out soon!

Topsy’s Bringing The Fun - Our beloved mascot Topsy is back and ready to party – handing out FREE sweets, spreading good vibes, and showing off his best dance moves.

Looking for a bit of sparkle...We have you covered! - Get your sparkle on with FREE glitter art – because no Pride celebration is complete without a little shimmer!

Proud to support the Every Little Thing Festival

We’re honoured to support the Every Little Thing Festival – a powerful initiative held annually in September, dedicated to raising awareness around mental health, wellness, and suicide prevention. The festival was created by Sinead Gibson in memory of her daughter, Diva Gibson, who tragically lost her life to suicide on 10th May 2020. Through this heartfelt project, Sinead continues to work tirelessly to support those facing mental health challenges and to offer hope and help to anyone in need. Sinead will be here on the day to help raise awareness and share her story.

And that’s not all – we have even more surprises coming on the day, so keep your eyes peeled and get your dancing shoes ready!
