Beale Wildlife Park’s Love Your Zoo Week

Next dates

Sorry, there are no future dates available

Beale Wildlife Park’s Love Your Zoo Week

27th May – 4th June 2023

Beale Wildlife Park is super excited to celebrate May half-term with Love Your Zoo Week. A celebration of everything wonderful Beale has to offer.

Throughout the half-term, you and your little ones can:

Join the Heart Tree project, what do you love most about Beale? Tell us and the world with our Heart Tree. Grab a wooden heart from the ticket office, decorate it at our craft station and let us know your favourite part of the park. Then, hang it on our tree and give a little love. We’ll share our favourites on social media.

Transform into your favourite animals with our amazing face painters. Tickets are just £3 with sales going directly towards our animal projects. Glow and Go are here on the 27th, 28th and 29th of May and again on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th June.

Meet the Marvellous Mini-Beasts or take part in the Python Picnic, a fantastic animal-handling session. This is a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with some of our animals and learn what makes them tick (and click and hiss!). Check the What’s On Board next to the ticket office for timings.

Create animal enrichment and watch our animals enjoy them in our daily sessions. Learn all about and get involved in what we do to enrich the lives of our animals. In this free activity, you will get the chance to make some interactive toys, filled with food, smells and textures for our animals to explore and enjoy. You then get the opportunity to see where this will go in the enclosure and maybe even see our animals interacting with it! Spaces for this activity are limited and available on a first-come first served basis. Tickets are available from the ticket office.

Join our knowledgeable Keepers in Keeper Talks held throughout the day. Keeper talks give you a great chance to see our animals out and about and get the inside scoop on their favourite snacks, their interesting behaviours, and what they get up to when the public aren’t around! Keeper talks happen daily; check out the What’s On Board on arrival for times and locations.

Explore the park with our self-guided trail, and discover the staff’s favourite animals. Follow our self-guided trail around the park and find out who some of Team Beale favourites really are, do you agree with them? Trails are £1, and prizes can be collected from the ticket office. All proceeds go directly towards our new animal enclosure projects.

Plus, all of Beale Park’s amazing attractions, including: train rides, over 150 animal species, beautiful gardens, 3 outdoor play areas, indoor soft play, little tykes village, and splash pool.
