A performance fit for a King at Broad Street Mall

Come and celebrate the King's Coronation with us on Saturday 6th and Monday 8th May.

Enjoy musical performances by two local groups in Central Square over the King’s Coronation weekend; on Saturday 6th May, RASPO steel band will perform at 3pm and on Monday 8th May, The Silver Tones Choir will sing at 12pm.

Woodley Town Council invites you to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III at its FREE Coronation Picnic in the Park!

Sunday 7th May 2-5pm

The event will be held in Green Flag award winning Woodford Park, adjacent to the Oakwood Centre, next to the new play area and skate park.

The celebration will include:

  • Live music on a stage!
  • Live Entertainment!
  • Live Circus Skills
  • FREE Ice Cream (first 300 people)

Turnhams Farm Recreation Ground

There will be children's crafting workshops and a giant bubbles as well as performances from local singers, dancers and drama groups, as well as entertainment for all of the family. Face painting, ice-creams, food vans, fairy trail and more.

Local groups have been making bunting to be displayed - they are aiming to have a King's Mile!

This event is for all of the family - come along and join in the fun!

Kings Coronation at the Milestone Centre

Caversham Park Village Social Club host an event to celebrate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, the social club will have the ceremony on the big screen. Food and drink will be available along with some crafting and activities for the children. A family affair going into the afternoon and a disco in the evening. All welcome. There is a long and unbroken tradition in our country of celebrating Royal Jubilees, weddings and Coronations with the lighting of Beacons.

Wellington Farm Shop will be lighting their Coronation Beacon at Wellington Farm Shop with glorious views over the Wellington Estate. Beacon lighting will commence at 7.30pm.
